Cynarina Coral (Cynarina lacrymalis):

A large polyp stony (LPS) coral known for its inflated, fleshy appearance and intense colors like red, orange, green, or pink.

Care Requirements (Short & Simple):

  • Lighting: Low to moderate

  • Flow: Low, gentle

  • Placement: Bottom of the tank, on sand or flat rock

  • Parameters: Stable (Temp: 76–80°F, Salinity: 1.025, Alkalinity: 8–12 dKH, Calcium: 400–450 ppm, Magnesium: 1250–1350 ppm)

  • Feeding: Benefits from occasional target feeding (mysis, brine, reef-roids)

Notes:

Delicate tissue—avoid strong flow or sharp rock edges. Needs space to expand. Stunning showpiece coral for a calm spot in the tank.
